Well Luke, your life is a fairly open book on here... I was going to guess the same thing. I may be, but i'm a very long book (about 10,000 pages), and right now, you've only read the first paragraph of the first page. Are you going to be posting all 10,000 pages on this forum during your first month? ;D (separate threads for each block of 10 pages please). ;D

Back to the topic at hand...I'm fairly certain my guess of Powell River-Westview is correct for Flugel's photo. That being said, I guess the ball is back in my court. Since we're doing terminals right now, have fun with this one:

Since we're doing terminals right now, have fun with this one: Yes, Westview terminal from my previous pic was the correct answer. There's a tanker truck in the line: everytime my wife takes that ferry, there's a NorthWest Tankers truck on the ship.... --------------- Now regarding OrcasNative's pic of a certain terminal on a certain island, at a certain place-name that's named after a certain volcano in Italy, well I'll let someone else jump at that one. I was just there twice in the last 3 weeks.

Here's another one: Question 1: what is the route? Question 2: what is the ship?

Galena ... Arrow Lakes ?? Correct on both, sir. I've never taken that ship. Both times that I've been on that route, I've taken the smaller MV Shelter Bay (which used to be the first MV Needles). --------------------- Back to the original theme of "where?" Where is this? (river, nearest town, etc)

I don't think the ship is what excapg2 was trying to make people guess for. More so, the location...

Here's one which will hopefully be a little more difficult:

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner! It is, indeed, the Blackball Dock at Port Angeles.

Nicola at... Woodfibre? Nicola yes. Woodfibre No. Given that the Stawamus Chief is so evident in the background, I will say it is Nicola sitting somewhere in the Mamquam Blind Channel at Squamish.
