A couple more pictures of Bowen Queen at Nanaimo. These are from Sept.11, 2010, from a different vantage point at the north end of Departure Bay beach. - You can see the C'Renaissance's Olympic-banner through the truck lane on the Bowen Queen.

Someone has sure been getting quite the tour of all the BC Ferries ports in the last few weeks. But today, she surprised me and arrived back home at Fulford Harbour just I was arriving for work. Rumour has it she's staying there until she replaces the Queen of Cumberland for refit in about a month

I know this is a little late to reply to this post, but I will anyway. Is that some pastel-era paint showing through?? That would be a neat thing to see more of!

Bowen Queen serving the HSB-Bowen Island route, on Feb. 3rd, 2011. The bowl chairs are surprisingly comfortable. Nothing but water available out of the beverage machine. Her wheelhouse. Does this follow BCF's branding rules....? ;D From the bridge-wing. Taking on traffic. Bowen Queen at Bowen Island. A certificate for responding to a mayday call.
