Anyone know why the Heron has been puttering on one paddle for the last 72hrs or so off the coast of the Baja peninsula ?
Noticed she was slowing a few days ago, 11 to 9 knts, then dow to less than 6 and today at 2.6.
I dont see any nasty weather ahead and she is tucking into a bay area with no ports

I dont see any nasty weather ahead and she is tucking into a bay area with no ports It's the sea state she can't handle, wind and rollers from the North make for a very rough and dangerous ride. She'll be fighting this problem all the way up the coast unless luck climbs aboard. Edit: I've changed the windy.com viewer from wind to waves so you can see it better. There are at least 4 wave modes you can select from the top right drop down menu.

She's almost home! What a trip! The 'Salish-class' newbuild project is now complete.

Does the Delivery Crew stay for the whole Voyage or do they have a Crew Change in Panama?
If you take the Voyage from start to finish, including fuel and rest stops. Did the they average just under 6 Kts/Hr for the endeavour? Nice.
