That just reminded me also... there's one thing missing in the Queen of Tsawwassen in WSF colours: She really needs something on her funnel... it looks a little too blank with no dogwood or anything up there.

Here is the nor Ad, Or at-least close to it. I can say I don't think she is a very good looking boat. so I also did her in the Expo colours and she looks much better. if I get the chance I will post her like that also. 7891

I love your drawings. I just rode on Puyallup tonight. I must say, your version looks much better than the real thing these days. She's getting pretty rusty!

Absolutely!
Sight unseen, I consider the Islander to be one of my all time favorite ferries in terms of sheer uniqueness of appearance and character, straight out of the same era as my beloved Langdale Queen.

Here is something all knew. I thought being as how we all know the Evergreens will end up being replaced what about something that has a feel like them yet more modern. How about Okanogan Class and have 3 of them. Okanogan, Cowlitz, Chimacum. 8201 Of-course I know theses won't happen but it's kind of fun idea anyways.

I like the idea of the outside deck all around. Both I like since they somewhat model modern day with the old classic touch.

I agree with Dan about covered decks. I like to be outside in all sorts of weather so the covered side decks come in handy in the rain. Just go to the lee side and you are set. A good book, a hot coffee, mini zoon binoculars in a pocket and I am all set.
That is my main question with the Nor Ex. The side decks all appear to be open. Great for interior views but no protection. The QoftN was the same but had all those 4 levels of covered areas at the stern where you could always find a good space even in the drizzle.
