Well it looks like April 1st is going to be the day when The Queen of Coquitlam starts running full time on Hb-Db. Wonder what will happen to the oak bay and cowichan and the vancouver and the saanich, Will be quite intriguing.

The Coquitlam will not be running full time on Route 2 as of April 1st. Traditionally the Oak Bay is in annual refit for April. When May comes around, you'll see the Coastal Renaissance and Oak Bay running full time. I'm also hearing rumours that there will be a 4th ship installed on Route 2 for summer schedule. This would make sense, with the Cowichan being a spare once the Renaissance is running.

Where will the 4th boat on Route 2 be tied up? For the night I would assume Horseshoe Bay - they only host two vessels currently. There is a contract with the Bowen Island water taxis to ferry crews to/from Snug Cove so they can leave the Capilano there as well, on occasion (not regularly, fueling and I imagine other logistics require her in HSB).
