Oh, and be sure to check out the new exterior shots of the Queen of Tsawwassen that I took from the Queen of Cumberland.
Other than the new gallery, all new pics can be found on the *last* pages of each gallery.

Pretty nice photos! The Seawest lounge looks very nice and comfy. Would you say its worth your money?

I'd say it's worth it. The seats are comfy, the food and starbucks coffee is free, and the quiet (because of the lack of popularity so far, as well as the lack of kids) is nice.
The way that I look at it, The coffe ($1.71 retail per cup), snacks (retail upto $2 (slice of banana bread)), and newspapers ($.75 to $1.50 each) alone make it worth it... the comfortable atmosphere is an added bonus.

It was fun me my sister and my cousins were at the front side of the forward lounge of the ship trying to walk in the strong breeze it was like a C-Class underway on the sun deck only stonger winds and we'd try to walk to the other side of the forward lounge we were on and then we'd run fast in the breeze and hit the wind barrier you could even jump and the wind would move you it was fun as anything ;D Also it was a powerful breeze at my corner and a bit rainy. As soon as we got home we found out the power went out it was a powerful breeze yesterday

Unfortunately I've only been on a ferry in rough weather once, and that was last winter (February, 2004) coming back from Long Beach through Departure Bay. We were on the Coquitlam, it was bouncing around but not as bad as I'd expected. The seas were a little rougher than in those pictures. If you want a smoother ride on the swells, you take the Inside Passage. The Queen Charlotte Sound (HUGE piece of water between south Queen Charlotte Islands and northern Vancouver Island) is about an hour of the voyage outside of Port Hardy and you're in the swells for about two hours (open ocean).

I was on the North Island Princess and the Queen of Burnaby on Saturday night and it was really rough and windy. It was hard do walk towards the back of the vessel, not the front of the vessel on the Queen of Burnaby since the wind was from behind. The trip to Comox was actually 15 minutes faster because of the wind! We passed a cruise ship out in the middle of the strait ... less than a kilometer away and that was when there was a thunder storm right overhead. Just after I came in, and I was standing in the front lounge of the Burnaby, it was like someone was pointing a power washer at the windows because of the combination of wind, hail, and rain.
I got the 3:45 from Powell River to Texada... it was almost full. Came back on the 6:15 and we were the first of 3 vehicles. Then took the 8:45 to Comox and there were 9 cars and one 1 truck on that.

I was on the 7:15 From Comox right before you're sailing. That must have been nice getting there 15 minutes earlier than schedualed probably not for the crew they gotta work those overtime hours I guess it's for extra pay and a thunder an lightnin show to go with it nice I would want to be on that sailing
