Queen of the North, why did you have to disembark at Horseshoe Bay?? You were coming back on the Alberni right??? Usually you can stay on the ship if you are going right back. I am wondering if you can do that at Langdale if I was to go roundtrip on the Surrey, during crew change upon arrival at 2pm. I guess if you want you can get on then get right back on if you already have your ticket if you buy it in the gift shop.

You get off then you get back on again thats what I did on my round trip to Texada. Probably you have to get off the ship if you pay both ways but what if you can pay for the way back where you started you just tell the crew you're going for a round trip.

during a crew change they may want you to disembark and thenget back on with the other passengers.

Well whenever I have done a roundtrip from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen and back you just go to the gift shop and purchase your return ticket then you can just stay on unless you want to get off and walk all the way back down to the toll both but usually I see people who have kids and such who are bringing them back or taking them over people who are divorced, they usually get off then get right back on. You can do that if you want. But I usually get off. I actually havent done roundtrips that much anymore, I usually just get off and at Horseshoe Bay you can actually walk around the village not like Tsawwassen where there is nothing there. What my plans were was to take the 10:30 sailing from Departure Bay on the Cowichan, 1 reason to go havent been on the Cowichan since her mid life, get into Horseshoe Bay about 12:05, wait around till the Queen of Surrey leaves at 1:20, 2 reason, havent been on the Queen of Surrey in years. roundtrip to Langdale and back arriving back at Horseshoe Bay at 3:10, then coming back to Naniamo on the 5pm Cowichan. I think crew change on the Surrey is at 2pm so I dont know if you would have to get off or could just stay on cause you dont have to pay to come back from langdale.

The only reason why I got off was to take some picts. Generally its only the 12:30 sailings you have to disembark because of the layover and Crew Change.
You should be able to stay on the Queen of Surrey as there is no Layover at Langdale between shifts.

I remember me and my grandma would just sit in the corner of the forward lounge on a roundtrip between swartz and tswwassen. I was a little kid and she was an old lady, they didn't care.
