What route should the Mill bay run on if she has to move?
Choice No. 3 is Gulf Islands for Dangerous Cargo Sailings 2 days a week.
I Hope she is put onto the Gabriola to Galiano Route link, for people who live in Nanaimo or on Gabriola Island want to visit Galiano Island but do not want to drive to Swartz Bay.
It would provide an Important link to the Southern Gulf Islands.

I like Langdale to Gambier Island. Since it's a passenger only route, the great passenger amenities on the Mill Bay would be a real asset.

I agree with you John, but there is a Tug and Barge Service to Gambier, I think that should be replaced with the Mill bay, she would be good there, or maybe BCFerries can Purchase this vessel: www.newscotland1398.net/digbyco/slocumj3063.jpg To run between Gabriola and Galiano, and then the two vessels are making money. |

Yes that ferry is for sale, it is in New Brunswick though.

Gambier idea sounds the most interesting, still doubt it would happen. Do they have 16 cars on the island to fill the ferry? (I've never been there)

I have an idea.
Mabye they can put the Mill Bay on a new route, a car ferry service to Lasqueti? Then the only problem would be rough weather, cause it will have to cross Georgia Strait.

I mean move the Brentwood and Mill bay docks to Langdale and Gambier Island, so she can be her old self on a good route, she has never seen any other BCFerries North Of Swartz Bay.

Sorry folks, but I've got to let off some steam:
I'll preface this by saying that this is all "in my opinion", and that I respect your own choice of opinon and your own right to post on this forum. That being said:
First, this thread is another stupid piece of krap that only serves someones fantasy world over 1 specific vessel, that is not connectected to reality or common sense.
Just when I think the poster can't be any more stupid, here comes another stupid thread.
Then there's the poster's stupid juvenile use of signature pics which are far too big, and which cause problems on this board.
Then there's the poster's sister of equal intelligence and maturity, who has her own uselessly large signature pic of cats that hogs thread space.
Congrats to all of you who have been able to repond to this thread in a calmer manner than I have. I don't really care about these polls, but they are good rant-fodder once in a while.

Yup, I agree though. I have to say it is just another stupid useless post. How many posts have we had on this Mill Bay subject??? It aint gonna happen. The MV Mill Bay wont be around forever!! NO MORE POSTS ABOUT THE MILL BAY FERRY! There are too many of them. Well said Flugel!!

The Mill Bay thing is getting old. How many topics have been started since March when Hatty Joined? TOO MANY!!!!!! I'm getting annoyed with it too. If I was moderating this forum I would have this thread deleted and oversixed signature pics deleted!!!
