It's the birth that is closest to the lounge. The upper loading dock on that berth has two lanes. The other one is single laned.

Berth 3 is double for both upper and lower decks
Berth 2 is single for upper, and double for the lower deck
Berth 1 is a lower deck berth only...

As for the picture, judging by the ramp machinery, it looks as if the picture was taken before Berth 3 was upgraded mechanically.
So it is either the Queen of Surrey loading at berth 3 (doubtful though as it would have to be pre-1996) or the Queen of Oak Bay (as Chris stated)...

I've seen the site with that pic before. But I think it was after the Fastcats were built because I think berth 3 was the same colour as berth 2 before they upgraded it.

Could you just put the image on your site drum roll please the answer is The Oak Bay the reason is if you look up the configuration of the upper cardeck sides are closer in and since Harbourlynx Teen guessed the Alberni as first answer Chris wins Fun Fridays!!! the answer is, first off this was the first sudden death match in Fun Fridays, second this is the longest competion yet but I did it on purpose so drum roll please. The answer is
