The Bowen Queen is filling in for the Mayne Queen while she is in refit. Well she was the last time I checked. I have been a way this week so I dont know if anything different has happened. Was Cumbie out of service or something on the 29th?? But I was on the 1pm from Tsawwassen today and I think the Bowen Queen is still filling in for the Mayne Queen.

Well if the Bowen Queen isent filling in for another ship before she comes to the Gulf Islands when she isent in service she is at Fulford Harbour. That is her home port where she ties up when she's not in service.
I was on the 1pm from Tsawwassen yesterday(Saturday) and it was pretty busy. The past few Saturday's it seems are really busy.

If she ties up at fulford when not in service how does the skeena queen dock, does the bowen park along side the berth rather than in it like the tacheck and nimpkish at blubber bay?

There is a tie up berth next to the main berth the Skeena Queen uses.

Ah I get it Now! ;D Skeena Queen is different to the Quinsam type vessel is it not? It has a sticky out bit on the left hand side of the ship when coming into swartz bay doesn't it?

The Skeena Queen is alot like the Quinsam, but it's slightly larger. It takes 100 cars instead of the 70 that the Quimsam can take. The Skeena Queen is very well suited for her run. She has a high enough capacity to keep up with demand and she isn't too big. Of the Open Deck ferries, The Skeena Queen is my favourite.

oh yup, I should of known that. Cumbie is never out of service except for refits! She's one of the best! Am I right? you bet! I take Cumbie over Skeena anyday. I like Cumbie's design more than Skeena!

If that was true it would be clearly announced in the media.

I believe they mentioned Poland...not like it's true or anything. We all know the NDP is full of bull crap. And Ikea is from Sweden.

And the Liberals aren't?
(As far as I remember, it was Clark's meddling that brought us the fast cats, *not* his party!)

You're right actually, All the marine engineers and even his own cabinet were telling him "Don't do this you idiot" But he did it anyway.
I see Gordon Campbell as a better leader for this province than Carole James. She's saying that she wants to build an oppostion party and that's not enough will for a good leader. A good leader wants to take on the responsibilities of leadership.
