Take a look at this link: support.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=v4&action=display&n=1&thread=1099555771There is one thing of concern for these following members: PR Queen Kid, Harry, Foxy the Hero, Kahloke "Birthday will become a required field in the profile. As we do not allow users under the age of 13, an age check will be in place which will remove accounts of users under this age."(Copied and pasted this from the proboards main site) You know what I think? -- Weaksauce! There will also be some changes to the look. |

PR Kid is alright. Just the other three. I would assume they won't start using this feature on members already in the board...at least when I signed in nothing popped up. If it does you can either leave and come back in a few years or lie about your age....  |

We will probably see the changes by the end of the week according to the proboards owner. They will be done automatically.

The Main Proboards server is supposed to start updating today so if you guys are underaged make it so that you are 13.

I can understand the age - concern on the admin's part - for legal reasons ect.... but how do they check - if your not born in Canada or even BC for that matter?
I was born in Sidney - but like over here in Europe - how would they be able to check my age to confirm it ect... I just don't think they have that link into the data base to confirm your age..... so all the younger ones - just change your title - so as not to draw attendation to yourself.

Ok guys, Proboards is going to upgrade the forum sometime this week. The Forum may be offline for an amount of time between 12 and 24hrs. We should be upgraded by the 13th. figure we will be done around the 11th. The first servers are being upgraded. We are on Server 20, that's why my guess is on the 11th. Your right. I think we're supposed to upgrade tomorrow. Servers 1-11 are getting upgraded today and 12-20 tomorrow. There will be notice up at the top saying that the upgrade is immenent, and the forum will close soon after that. Looks like Mac Write's site will be busy tomorrow and possibly into wednesday.
For those of you who are under 13!!!
Change your profile age to 13+ or your account will be deleted during the upgrade!

Or anyone under 13 just use and stay on my forum since there is no age restriction.
