If I could have a bc ferry i would want the bowen queen. the car deck i would fill with dirt and grow grass and have a drive way up to the covered parts for my garage. The deck that is sparated i would turn into bedrooms and the next deck would be kitchen, dinning room and living room, next deck is storage and sun deck and then my office on the bridge. I'd circle the gulf islands and go down to mexico and up to alaska.

QUEEN OF OAK BAY!!! I would leave bottom car deck for cars still and have the passenger deck layed out for a house with the living room and bedrooms...etc and have the second car deck for all of my best friends and it too would be set up for to be a house, and still have the engines all set up to take around the world...hmm would need lots of $$$$ to ever think about that.

I'd have the Queen of Saanich. I would dock her at my dad's place up Indian Arm, live on her, and sail her up and down the Pacific Coast. My bedroom would be where the upper deck restaurant is now.

hmm now where the heck would I dock Cumbie here. I guess I would have to keep her in Sidney as there is no where out here I could keep her in the Jaun De Fuca straight. Maybe WSF could lend me the Sidney dock while it aint in use, other months of the year I guess Ogden Point, actually no that wouldent work in the summer as there are cruise ships but the rest of the year I guess I could dock her there.
Yeah that would be a cool idea. Royal Carribean, I will follow ya with the Cumbie as I would go down to Mexico and Alaska, the Carribean, ect.. also. If we all went down with are ferries that would be kind of cool although probably me and you would be near the end of the line as are ships are slower. Harbourlynx would be first, sort of like the leader, can go farther ahead and see what's up ahead, ect.. then probably the Saanich and Cowichan and Oaky. Aww, no one has chosen the SOBC or the SOVI! Well I will take the SOVI also if no one chooses her, what I will do is like people do with their big motorhomes, they tow a little car behind. I will hook the Cumbie up to the back of the SOVI and tow her around, or maybe I could get a friend or somthing to sail either one.

Karl, you could use her as the lifeboat and something to bomb around in for pleasure, thats what I would do, get a little ferry like the Klitsa or something to burn around in but have the way bigger one for its size of handleing the big seas.

Oh and almost forgot, what about Queen of the North or Prince Rupert, they have rooms on them with beds, it would be alot easier to bash out a few walls to make a room bigger than adding a bunch, but I still call Oaky ;D

i would take one of the spirits and put big lights on the car deck. after a few months she would be paid off. a couple months a year i would light her up and the rest of the year i would cruise off my profits

with the Harbourlynx. id probably add probably another 4 meters. make her about 30 Meneters wider. and then upgrade the engines to KaMeWa waterjets(like the fast cats) then id raise her, and then shed look like a replica of the Cat(running from maine to Nova scotia) id be able to do 55 Knots full speed, and have a cruising distance of 1500 miles

Getting back to what I was saying this morning for changing the layout of the car deck I'll load cars on by the first car deck they'll access the second car deck the way BCF always has done it always. I'll hire a small crew to drive dock and handle the engine room. Change the crews quaters into fancy bed rooms. Change the cafeteria into a normal kitchen but don't change the cafeteria seating much. Change the seating plan alot get two big screen TVs for two areas of the ship. extend the deck the deck where you disembark at Horseshoe Bay thats mostly it for now.

Well...I guess I'd take the Coquitlam or Surrey. ;D I don't know if the Fraser River is deep enough, but I'd dock it up where the St. John's Fishing Lodge used to dock...close to home. Perhaps I'd turn it into a floating casino/hotel with MY house up top. I'd be making money. ;D I'd have to give her yet another major refit and add stabilisers this time so I could head out into the open ocean, maybe head over to Europe and "show off" my new GIANT yaht/casino to Europe's d**ned ugly ferries. It would be great. ;D I'd use the Main Car Deck and the Platform Car Decks for the casino and use the Upper Car Deck for the hotel. My HOUSE would be the Main Passenger Deck. There would be some outter deck space for the customers up top and where foot passengers currently walk on/off (platforms above Upper Vehicle Deck). I would be the Captain. I would have to close in all the areas water can get in (car deck windows, upper car deck loading, etc...) and replace the engines to further increase speed. Damn, that would be great.

Actually that is what I meant. I would anchor somewhere and live on her. The Inner Harbour in Victoria maybe, hmm might not be any room there for the SOVI, English Bay would be nice. But yeah that is also a good idea, I will have the SOVI and turn her into a floating home, then have the Cumbie as my little vessel to go sailing around in. Royal Carribean you probably would need a second ship if you were going into open waters, along with Bowen Queen.
People who havent answered yet are going to be limited to which ones they can choose as they cant choose the ones already taken.

I will take the best looking of them all! The Queen of The North. Lets see, fill the Car deck with lots of supplies and food and sail around the world. First Stop would be to take her home for a visit, Back to Sweeden and Denmark and open her up for tours. I would let all of her formal customers and Crew members who worked on her as the Stena Danica come aboard and take them on a cruise around the Baltic Sea. Then I would like to sail up to the Mediteranian Sea and visit places such as Rome, Egypt and Isreal. As I am a Christian I would like to go Jeruselam (forgive my spelling) and follow the footsteps of Christ, Then go through the Suez Canal, Slowly head back to BC Via China, Japan and Alaska. I would get rid of the "Waves" on the funnle and put the Dogwood back where it belongs. Now too find a permanant Anchorage, I would probably find some secluded Bay off of one of the Gulf ISlands.

Scrap the Mill Bay and get rid of that pile of steel boxes on top of a giant tin boat.
