To start this off, I will talk about th seabus, when I came to BC on the 4th August 2004, I thought the seabus would be like a normal ferry. I didn't see the seabus until 2005 in January sometime when we went up to Grouse Mt. I really like the way that the Seabus has doors that actualy look like a bus! Check this site out! www.vanmag.com/sounds/seabus.html

Yep. That sounds right. I remember a few years ago when The Lions Gate Bridge was undergoing deck replacement, and they had night closures, and one morning the Bridge didn't open until mid-afternoon, so the Seabus was making departures every 7 or 8 minutes instead of the regular 15 minutes, to keep up with the high demand.
Hey Quinsam, that pic of the seabus is fairly old because it has the old BC Transit Red and Blue Strip instead of the Translink Blue and Yellow Stripe.

That orange Seabus seems to be in 1982.
I wonder what the Seabus is going to look like next.

The SeaBus doesn't leave service for a formal refit. Moroever, it is painted while it's running (at night). Changing from BC Transit to Translink was about a one month process, half a month for each ship. First they take the old striped off, reapint it all white, change decals, start stripe by stripe and so on.

They did a very poor job on the stripes on the SeaBus. Up close they're almsot transparent in places.

Look near the operators area, I think on the Oetter. It's been awhile. I don't have a UPass right now so I take my car everywhere.
You'll also notice the lines are less than straight.

The sea bus is an efficiant form of transport. I love there design and when they make the new ones they look the same.

I like their design too, although, it looked pretty wierd when I first saw it. If you look at Cruise ship infinity in here, to the right hand side is the Seabus, look at it compared to Infinity!

I wonder what the Quinsam would look like alongside the seabus, like them in a tug-of-war, what HLKid suggested, Quinsam and the lynx in a tug-of-war!
