Do you guys think it would be worth it to go back to the Queen of Sidney? I am coming to North Van in a couple of weeks and i am wondering if i should visit her again. I didn't get any interior photos last time so that is why i am considering it.

I don't know an exact date that i could go . It would probably be either a saturday or a sunday. Who is the person that coordinated it last year, and who gave you the tour?

To be honest, I actually wouldn't mind getting some more pics, this time with my new camera. Maybe it would be sunny this time as well. But remember, it's Bills decision, so don't get too carried away.

Oh, and sorry to say, the most likely date would be friday afternoon, possibly saturday. On the other day, my mom is going to put on a bus to tsawwassen and I am going to go on the Queen of New Westminster! |

Nope, count me out. I have school that day, and the earliest I could get out there, and this is the absolute earliest, is 4pm, after a 2 hour drive. That's not what I really feel like doing on a Friday evening, the busiest evening of the week. Saturday would be alot easier for most of us I think....but if not, I'm not gonna bother.

Well either day is fine for me but I would prefer Saturday as would most people I think. Friday afternoon is a pretty busy time to get out there. Have you talked to Bill yet?? That is the first thing ya gotta do to see if you can go back on the Sidney.

Yeah that would help, lol. That gate on the car deck with the barbed wire on top didn't look like something you would want to get hung up on. Plus it would be a bit dark with all of the lights off. So, yeah, it would be a good idea to get in touch with Bill, hahaha.

Hey Bill, (Next time you're on, and hopefully you see this), and everyone else can read this as well... But what's going on with the Sidney at the moment anyway? Looks like you guys have been cleaning her up inside? The cafeteria looks pretty good, with the tables being back in order. Planning to go somewhere, with having the Norths original seating lined up on the car deck? lol Looks like the floors are covered with airsoft balls! hahaha, gotta be careful walking around then! This guy looks like he was there just a couple of days ago.... All of the sudden, that musty diesel-oil smell has come back to my senses again. What a difference from the PacifiCats where they went with CombiTherm steam/convection cookers and no deep fryers to save weight on having to install heavier firewalls. |

Hey Guys, another tour may be possible, but there is a fair amount of activity going on over there, and a tour would have to be scheduled around this. Not sure if we can do it that quick. I will check schedules and let you know.
