Without trying to sound repetetive, your sketches are beautiful, Fenklebaum. I can't wait to see more of them! I've done a little sketching of ferries over the past years. A couple of them are on my website on various pages. One question I have... what do you start with? DO you find a photograph and try to imitate it.. or do you look at several and do it your own way? This is my Queen of Victoria sketch.. sailing off into the sunset (I cropped it and sized it down for my website... I don't have the full sketch on my computer right now).

I've made a report on my summer vacation in 2003 with a ferry picture drawn on the front. Unfortunately I didn't want to look like a ferry geek so I drew it from mind...not as good as yours. It was of the Oak Bay by the way.

E Class hmmmmm?... It wouldn't happen to be the Esquimalt and Sannich would it? Since the Esq is the only ferry with a E in it's name (not including the "Queen of" part) or is it elsewhere in the world?

The Queen of Esqiumalt and the Queen of Saanich are v class ferries because thay look like the Queen of Vancouver or retired Queen of Victoria there is no E class in the BCF fleet.

Well folks, contrary to popular demand/opinion (whichever way you may want to look at it), I am in fact NOT dead. Just very... VERY busy with school. As a result, I have been forced to place my non musical passions on the back burner. Still, I have been plugging away at this latest sketch. It's not finished, but I felt like dropping a line. Don't worry, I'm still very much annoyed by all of you. Oh, and Harry: I admire your dedication. Even my pipe dream of preserving the Mill Bay doesn't come close to yours. KEEP DREAMING, but try to stay grounded in reality, okay? One eye looking up, one looking to make sure you don't trip and fall on your arse. Because you know what happens when people fall in the muck... I usually end up laughing at them.

That sketch you posted it spectacular! That would take alot of skill, time, and a sharp eye to do all of that! It's understandable that you've been busy with school and everything. But once again, great job!!!
