Alberni in Berth 3 That's a very nice picture. I love how the sky has lit up in multiple colors and the orange really makes the ship stand out! Where did you capture this from? I was kind of thinking from a vessel at/pulling in/out from Berth 2.

Took the Queen of Alberni back to the mainland last week. I was pleasantly surprised by the presence of windows on the main car deck, considering that they always seem to load my Subaru and boat trailer down there despite being under 7 ft tall and under 7 ft wide.

Those main car-deck windows are one of my favourite spots on the ship. So close to the water that is zipping by.

I think that Queen of Alberni is the star of this video, so I'm posting it here.

Very much looking forward to my ride on the Queen of New Westminster tomorrow, back to the mainland for the first time in a couple of months. But I'm also hopeful that the Queen of Alberni will be getting some much needed TLC in her three months of refit, aside from whatever essential maintenance she receives. She's looking very tired, with a lot of rust onboard, and while I realize that a refit for a vessel of her vintage is kind of slapping mascara on decaying epidermis, as a ferry fan I'd still like to see her looking a little perkier, and not inviting some of the comments that I've heard from other riders in recent times. The five C class sisters are of a certain age, and it's going to get more challenging to keep them efficient as time goes on. So, best wishes to the 'Alberni on her visit to the shop.

Well they are sister Vessles aren't they, at least from the main deck down. What about yesterday?😃 Ever since the Mr. Mars Bar days, and into the Corporal Rabinoff days, and now again, you're unique style has been your "LE" ending to the word "Vessel" which ends with an "EL" not an "LE". I like it, because it lets me know that it's you, in whatever username you're using. ps: I think Mr. Mars Bar is my all time favourite of your handles. Big planes and candy, a winning combination.

This old girl must be having issues. Not running as a double ender today. We backed out of tsawassen and now spinning to back into duke point.

I noticed on the safety brochure that the pay showers have been replaced by a parents room. Is this is ture?
