MALASPINA SKY (ex. ISLAND SKY) - Photos & Discussion

Malaspina (Island) Sky photos! I know this boat doesn't get travelled all that much by ferry fans so I wanted to share as much of it as I could. I grew up in Powell River so I have faint memories of the Chilliwack, even fainter ones of the Tsawassen, and then much more vibrant ones of this ship. When I was on the bridge I was even allowed to drive which was super awesome! It was my first time driving a boat with RADs.

Malaspina Sky arriving at Earls Cove 30 mins behind schedule. Tide was one of the lowest levels I have ever seen.

Each of these yellow lines is 1.5 feet with the red lines being the maximum/minimum. I dont know where exactly it's measured off when raising or lowering but the ramp was VERY low.
