And here's what it looks like with a straight horizon and some cropping to minimize the dead-space at the top of the frame. Flugel Horn, I feel like you are making fun of my spelling and my sentence structure which making me feel uncomfortable and I feel like you are bulling me. You are correcting my picture too. Please stop making me feel unwelcome on this forum.

Please stop making me feel unwelcome on this forum. If you are going to post frequently on this forum, then you do need to do a better job of proof-reading your posts. The inconsistency in your post style tells me that sometimes you choose to make the effort, and sometimes you don't. The difference is bewildering. In terms of you being a frequent poster on this forum and me being a moderator on this forum, my comments to you are not bullying (and I take exception to that accusation), but they are me doing my job of making this forum an enjoyable place for people to read posts and view photos. Regarding your photo, if you had taken the time to correct the horizon yourself, I wouldn't have had the need to show you what that straight horizon looks like. Regarding your being welcome on this forum, you are welcome here, but not with the continued posting style that you occasionally use. If you actually think that this is bullying, then I suggest that you leave this forum, because you have unrealistic expectations of this forum.

How you are doing it is bullying me by giving me no tips. If you or other people give me tips to improve my posting, then I will not say it is bulling me.

How you are doing it is bullying me by giving me no tips. If you or other people give me tips to improve my posting, then I will not say it is bulling me. I can say truthfully that plenty of tips have already been given, both by posts in this forum and by personal-message. Most other members do just fine in learning by observing other people's posts and learning from how other people present their posts and photos. But I'll say this again: - If you think this is bullying, then you probably shouldn't be participating on this forum. Sometimes, it's just not a good fit because of age or other reasons. But you should have also noticed that every time you've taken steps to improve your posts, people (myself included) have given you clear and immediate positive feedback and thanks. But accusing people of bullying is not going to win you any goodwill here. That kind of comment offends me.

I am sorry, it is not in my nature to step in to a conversation like this, but I can not just let this be Mr Horn posts by any means being a bully. (I know he can stand up for him self but other perspectives can help some situations) Mr. Cheese with how you post and the frequency of your posting you should be open to some criticism. I will never clam to be perfect but I will always re read my posts and make sure I have covered the entire thread before I comment and or ask a question just to make sure what I want to know has not already been answered previously. How you are doing it is bullying me by giving me no tips. If you or other people give me tips to improve my posting, then I will not say it is bulling me. I don't see the PMs that you receive but do see the posts that are put up around your posts and you seem to receive more tips and help then any other member on the forum. Mr Cheese I think you should re think your position on Mr. Horns posts and photo work.

I will also jump in and take the "neutral/factual side" of this conversation. 1. Awesome Cheese went to Tsawwassen on Sunday and took pictures of some BC Ferries. 2. Awesome Cheese posted a photo of the CR with a non-straight horizon 3. Flugel Horn downloaded the photo, presumably form Flickr, modified it and posted it. He is free to do this under the Creative Commons licence of the photo. I personally see nothing wrong with what Flugel Horn did, and even see this as a "tip" to Awesome Cheese and not bullying. I were A/C I would be happy to have a chance to get better photos and ask how to do it with what software and other related questions. I have had issues with straightness before, someone PM'd me and now I make sure that pictures I post are straight. Everybody has ups and downs but you always have a second chance to get better. (That sounds like the conclusion of my English essay ) Mayne: First line of your post: Horn not Horns

What is with people, in bugging each other about their posting style? Lets all be friends here. This is same as in real life. Different personalities, different styles, and different ideas of what is acceptable or not. And just like there are annoying people in real life, there are also internet people who have annoying posting styles which annoy other people. Clashes are inevitable, but they are usually because of annoying posting styles and are usually confronted and resolved. This is a normal part of an internet forum. Yes, we've seen a good variety of annoying posting styles on this forum in 2012.

People on this forum should be accepting that. But you should not judge them for being different.

Annoying: that's not so good here, and it gets on people's nerves. Disruptive: that's bad here, and not accepted here. 3 words for you to study. ps: Different and non-disruptive: that's a very good thing. Most people fall into this category.
