You need to crop it to fit the banner dimensions. Otherwise, I'd say you captured the theme perfectly ;D

Another neat picture to compare the refurbrished wheelhouse windows vs. The ones that didn't get refurbrished.

Here's My Entries. It looks like the Bowen and Mayne are going to be a Popular Entry this Month... poor Powell River, always getting left out cause she doesn't serve the Southern Gulf Islands. Full Image - Coastal Renaissance and a Fairly Fresh from Germany Coastal Celebration at Departure Bay. July 8, 2008 Full Image - The Bowen and Mayne Queen at Swartz Bay. November 11, 2010. Ok, perhaps this next one is a Cheat, but the New West in Spirit is still a 'B' Class. Full Image - The Queens of New Westminster and Nanaimo at Tsawwassen. September 28, 2010.

I'm all Spirit with my three entries* ... Spirits Passing in Active Pass - 5 May 1995 photo © WCK-JST by Wett Coast, on FlickrFull size here. Passing Spirits from Mayne Island - Active Pass - 6 June 2011 photo © WCK-JST by Wett Coast, on FlickrFull size here. 'Spiritual' Moment at the north-east end of Active Pass - 6 July 2009 photo © WCK-JST by Wett Coast, on FlickrFull size here. *I had many photos to choose among - C-class, Coastal class, V-class, PR-class, etc. I have many good Spirit photos showing both vessels together and seeing as only one other person has submitted an entry with 'Spirit', I said 'Why not'.

That's a beauty, jimpilch! The photo that's displaying on the forum is correct, but the full-size links to an uncropped version of the original photo. When you upload the full-size to Photobucket, make sure you click Customize your upload options and select 1280x960. The "full-size" photo should look just like the one that you have displaying on the forum right now, but 1200 pixels in width (wider) for our header, hence a URL. If you have issues, I'll be happy to help...

Wow! That's a beauty! Looks like Queen of Surrey 1 (or Queen of the North) in the background as well. Welcome back jimpilch.

A Mr. DOT entry: Retired Sisters Queen of Vancouver & Queen of Saanich @ Deas Dock - 3 May 2009. These decommissioned V-class vessels were awaiting their fate. Both were scrapped in Mexico during 2012. For more than thirty years these vessels, along with sisters the Queen of Victoria & the Queen of Esquimalt, provided the lion's share of service on BC Ferries' busiest route - that being route 1 - Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay. photo © Mr. DOT by Wett Coast, on Flickr[/size]
