OK, so maybe I shouldn't comment. But I will just for my sake of interest in the horns. ;D Are you sure the Coastals have an E Major chord, Scott? When you first made this post, you said E Minor chord. I always thought The Coastals had somewhat of an E diminished chord. I'm no expert at picking out individual notes, but I try to at least keep the answers written down in my mind. Here's the Queen of Vancouvers E Major chord. ferryman.sitesled.com/horns/Queen%20of%20Vancouver.wmaHere's the Coastal Inspiration's E diminished/minor chord ferryman.sitesled.com/horns/coastalrenaissance.wavMajor = 1, 3, 5. Minor = 1, flat 3, 5. Diminished = 1, flat 3, flat 5. Coastal Renaissance has been sounding E diminished for quite awhile now. Coastal Inspiration has been sounding E major lately. There has to be multiple ways to get the horn to sound different, from the actual mechanisms to sound the horn, air pressure fluctuations and possibly the weather conditions to some extent. I'd love a 4-tone ferry horn with 1-3-5-maj7. I love that maj-7 on top of the triad.

Here's a video of the Canucks VS. Flames Game with the goal horn clearly heard. Can you compare it to anything in the BCF Fleet? So far I can't.
