Ah, the Queen of Tsawwassen has made the journey back up to Saltery Bay today. It's just entering Jervis Inlet as I type this.

We saw her as we were leaving Tsawwassen on the Esquimalt today. Looked like she was heading to Tsawwassen. I guess she stopped there for supplies or something on her way north to Saltery Bay.

I suspect that she will be replacing the Queen of Burnaby in the not too far future for annual refitt.

So when the Tsawwassen is retired what ship will be the relief boat for those routes?

So when the Tsawwassen is retired what ship will be the relief boat for those routes? We don't know and and we gather that BCFS doesn't know, either. They may use the Queen of Chilliwack as it appears to be the only possible option.

There have also been rumored that BC Ferries might use the "V" Class Vessels However, this rumor might be scrap now as the "V"s are up for sale.

The Queen of Esquimalt is tied up at Departure Bay. I saw her on the webcam this morning there. She should be there until the Coastal Inspiration arrives then who knows where she is going.

Just watching on Siitech now, the Queen of Prince Rupert appears to be getting moved around by 3 tugs at Deas. Is it a little bit early to be taking her up north or what? Then again, she might be going to the drydock, as it would have been 2 years since her last time out of the water (with the exception for the time a year ago where she had to get some work done on a propeller in Alaska.
EDIT: Nevermind, looks like they just made the QPR sit sideways against the the ends of the berths. (OK DENelson, I know that the AIS transponder is only acting funny).
The Queen of Surrey is actually the one being swarmed by the tugs right now. This makes sense, as she's the one who goes back into service tomorrow.

They should be doing a switcheroo tonight, according to the service notices.

Also remember that siitech's AIS is a bit castrated right now.

Does anyone know what's going on with the Coquitlam and Surrey neither boat is showing up on siitech Current Conditions page has them switching in the middle of the day now. I guess there might have been a reprovisioning glitch, or something else that came up at the last minute that held up Surrey at Deas. Of course, the anticipated switch doesn't mean it will actually happen, if they haven't checked and accounted for all cotter pins.....

Siitech is showing the Queen of Chilliwack being nudged into the dock at Deas right now.
Queen of Surrey is nowhere to be found at the moment, while the Coquitlam is still running in her place on Route 3.

According to the RBI the Coquitlam is scheduald as the #2 boat out of DB this comming long weekend. Makes plenty of sense, since there's an extra C Class vessel around, to put the Coquitlam on Route 2. The Queen of Surrey has resumed service on the Sunshine Coast (32 minutes behind schedule, as a new service notice mentions), so Departure Bay can expect to see the Coquitlam in the next couple of days. I think that concludes the refits for all C Class boats, so the Coquitlam's job will now be as an overload/additional vessel on Routes 2 & 3. Is the Esquimalt still perched in Berth 1 at Departure Bay?

Is the Esquimalt still perched in Berth 1 at Departure Bay? Good question. Scott mentioned that she was due to move and sit at Langdale today, though we couldn't know that thanks to siitech; I seem to behind the times on that issue, will it be resolved eventually?

Coq will be arriving at Departure Bay very soon, according to SiTech. Esquimalt must be at Langdale.
