Flickr.com has been capturing the attention and imaginations of the savvy web-going and photographically inclined public lately. In particular I (as many here) am quite impressed by the BC ferries are aesthetically pleasing Flickr group, and to a lesser and more mundane extent BC Ferries Flickr group. On the other side of the coin is the equally intriguing Flickr transit groups. In particular the Flickr group Vancouver Transit is the ubiquitous authority on the matter, though I've recently taken the time to start my own group, BC Transit, however there are many equally captivating groups out there hosted by Flickr.com that seem to cover every subject imaginable. It might seem overwhelming, but keep in mind your particular interests and Flickr's search mechanism can be your saviour.

Retro:
I appreciate you bringing this subject up. I have known flikr as the place where people host pictures, and where they can have a personal gallery. But these groups really work to make flikr a much more useful place, since it groups pictures more by interest than by photographer.
I had not heard of the flickr groups until now. Thanks!
