I couldn't help but notice the ongoing complaints about Photobucket on this forum. I feel the same way, unfortunately... Now, I don't have the fastest connection in the world, but since Photobucket has updated their site (cursed with their bloody new uploader, which can go straight to hell) I constantly get errors when uploading more than 5 images, and it ends up being a very frustrating experience and inconvenience. Flickr works very well, except that Flickr does not give you the correct codes and sizes for posting. So, my question to you, is... To all the photo-uploading experts: Are there any other "alternative" photo uploading sites out there, that share the same features as Photobucket? Thanks, I appreciate it.

Photobucket is now completely down due to it being hacked.

It's still up for me. Have you tried the "old uploader" link?

It is impossible to check it currently. All their servers are down due to NetDevilz hacking it.

Well, if photobucket is down, then how come I'm still able to access it? That is weird.

Good maybe it will stay down. I hate photobucket right now. Well I did everything I normally due to direct link to the forum to post photos but of course nothing shows up when I post. It's just blank. I had trouble on and off with trying to get photos posted directly to the forum. Last week photos from Long Harbour I posted worked so I would like to know why the ones I took yesterday dident seeing I do everything the same. I dont use the old uploader. It is slow and it dosent work half the time. I try to use the bulk uploader as it seems to work better. As far as I am concerned photobucket can go to hell! They dont even seem to care. So my alternative is Facebook which is alot more easier although only people who have Facebook can see your photos. But I guess that can be good in a way!

17:55 - The power is back in North Delta and Photobucket is back online, but in a very limited format.
Images posted on this forum, including the header, are offline also.
Shaw users seem to be able to access photobucket perfectly, however us TELUS users are having difficulty.

So it's a routing problem and the routing tables haven't been updated yet.

I haven't had issues with Photobucket. In fact, I just uploaded a bunch of pictures tonight and it was working fine.

Alright, well it appears that Photobucket is back online and working normally...
It seems that that whole ordeal only seemed to affect TELUS internet users, and Shaw and cable internet users remained unaffected for some reason...

I know this is an old issue but once again Photobucket will not work for me (and hasn't for the last three days, Canada day has come and gone and I want a new sig ) and am wondering whether anyone has a different site that will be able to give the proper information for posting. EDIT: This is strange but I yanked the DSL cord out of the wall plugged it back in and now Photobucket works.

EDIT: This is strange but I yanked the DSL cord out of the wall plugged it back in and now Photobucket works. It would seem that either your service provider caches pages for individual IP addresses or your router caches the pages internally. When you unplugged the DSL, it would have requested a new IP address, and possibly flushed its cache...you want goofy? I couldn't get the menu to work on my digital set top box for the TV in my living room...the one in the bedroom worked fine...after unplugging everything associated with the TV in the living room to no avail, I unplugged the modem and router...voila, problem solved! Apparently the set top box works though the modem...

Some boxes get updates back and forth from the cable or satelite companies. Modems and routers seemed to get stalled at times. Turning them off is not always good enough. Occasionally they need a good unplugging.

Occasionally they need a good unplugging. Doesn't everyone need a good unplugging now and then? I hear bran is good for that...atleast that's what I understand from Shatner.
