So how many football fans do we have here? Anyone on the Island taking advantage of BC Ferries special late-night sailings on selected game nights? As quoted at www.lionbackers.com/bc_lions/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=15192"BC Ferries will have late-night sailings departing Tsawassen for Swartz Bay at 11:30 p.m. after the Lions' home opener on Friday, July 4, and at the same time on Friday, Oct. 10. Late sailings to Duke Point will take place on Saturday, Sept. 13 and Saturday, Sept. 27." These were a huge hit last year, including Ferries setting aside a "tailgating" section of the staging areas on the Island side. I actually considered driving out to Tsawwassen, and hopping the ferry over to one of the Duke Point tailgates, just for the sake of doing it. On one sailing out of Duke Point, they even loaded and unloaded the Lions traffic first (so they'd be sure to get to BC Place in plenty of time), and flew the Lions and Eskimos flags on the trip over: Huge props to BC Ferries for being supporters of the Lions and their fans!

Could they do the same favour for Canucks fans? I know of many pining for a late sailing.

I don't know if they already do, but you could always contact BC Ferries and ask them...
