Hi...I made the mistake of making the downgrade to vista...and I can't get the Web cams at FSG to work in Explorer. Anyone else have this problem.
Thanks Chris

Yes. So I use Firefox and it works very well. So do Safari and Cuil. I haven't downloaded Chrome yet, but I will do so and try it out. EDIT: I just downloaded and ran Chrome (Beta) from the Google site. When I go to the web cam at the Flensburger site there are no error messages, but the picture is blank.

Before BCinNJ starts doing his immitations of the MAC commercials - which he subjects me to on a regular basis - I have Vista. The only website I currently have problems with is the webcams from FSG. So on Markus' suggestion I simply use Firefox when I go into that site. I think it is the sites that require ActiveX Control if I recall correctly. So I often have both open because I am more familiar with Explorer and can navigate in it without thinking.

I use Vista on my computer but am also a longtime Firefox user, and had no problems getting to the webcams at FSG. So I tried opening it in IE7, and sure enough, I did also get that error message instead of a Webcam.
And, hey! Now that I'm used to Vista on my Laptop and Home computers, I feel almost handicapped with all the XP computers at the office. (And I was the guy who had to be dragged kicking and screaming, from DOS to Windows, and again from Win 3.x to Win 95.)

I'm pretty sure it's a permissions issue...you need to get permission from Microsoft to use your computer.
