Hi everyone, I hope it's ok to post this here--if not, moderators, feel free to pull my ears As some of you may know I'm a prof at RRU who's been doing research on our ferries for the past two years. To date I have done about 250 interviews, and about 100 trips to two thirds of all the destinations served by BC Ferries. For the next month or so I'll be researching the Swartz Bay - Tsawwassen route. As part of that, I'm looking to meet with residents of the greater Victoria area. To that purpose I'll be holding three (or so) ferry tales-sharing sessions (I guess "group interviews" would be the technical term, however it strikes me as stiff and boring so I don't like to use it) on the Royal Roads University campus. I'd like to invite anyone who's interested in talking about the ferries to come and tell your stories, share your experiences, etc. All ferry-tale sessions will be held on wednesdays starting at noon. Lunch is provided. If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you. Just email me at phillip.vannini@royalroads.ca and I'll give you details. Thank you and sorry for having been so quiet on the board lately--I've been hopping islands a lot...
