Yes that end of the ship there are vehicles every which way. I remember we took the Coho a few summers ago coming back from Port Angeles. The car deck is very cramped. But I do remember going down to the car deck while underway. Not the last trip but back in like 97 or so. Maybe it has changed now about going down to the vehicle decks.

Intersting i've never really seen the inside of a ferry car deck with a bow door thats the first time i've seen one

Might have to do something with post 9/11 security requirements. Could also have to do with the fact that the guy who was plotting to blow up the airport in Los Angeles had come over from Canada on that ferry. -- LB

Not hjaving been on the Coho, I can imagine what it's like. Two weeks ago on the Quinault I had to climb out of my sun roof.
