Last I checked Siitech.net, its system could not detect the Coastal Renaissance in port at DPB. Is someone on this forum who lives in Nanaimo or Oceanside willing to get in touch with Siitech to fix this?

Denelson, if you want an AIS station, your area looks like a good one to set one up to get Nanaimo coverage. I believe the servers at Nanaimo and Parksville were taken down.

how long has siitech been down for? and why are the bigger ships picked up in victoria but not the smaller ones?

Only those ships with active AIS transponders appear on the map.

this is true, but i have never seen ships like the skeena queen, maybe, cumberland, ect.. with their transponders off for this length of time.
