Great find! Great to see this being used. Imagine owning a ferry to live in. Now, we wonder how much the owner charges in ticket prices for his visitor and guest "passengers"? ;D

Was this the ferryboat that "starred" in the film TUGBOAT ANNIE? I remember that tug Arthur Foss was used in the film, but I think that a Puget Sound ferry was used too.

Was this the ferryboat that "starred" in the film TUGBOAT ANNIE? I remember that tug Arthur Foss was used in the film, but I think that a Puget Sound ferry was used too. I have seen this movie myself on Q13 about a decade or two ago. I think the ferry was the WASHINGTON. If I remember right, the NARCISSUS (Annie's tug) plowed into the WASHINGTON! Have to see this movie again whenever it is shown again to confirm all of this.

I have seen this movie myself on Q13 about a decade or two ago. I think the ferry was the WASHINGTON. If I remember right, the NARCISSUS (Annie's tug) plowed into the WASHINGTON! Have to see this movie again whenever it is shown again to confirm all of this. That would be interesting to see, especially if it is the old Washington a long forgotten ferry on the Sound. It's a pity the first Issaquah wasn't taken care of as well as the City of Seattle. At least her pilot houses have been saved though: www.issaquahhistory.org/sites/ferry.htm
