Last year I did my sport driving license, this year will start track days. Nervous but excited. Sorry, does any one here watch auto racing in any form? Seattle Raceway is my home track.

That's a nice set of wheels 'ya got there! How many HP does it have? What year was she built? Max speed? Max speed that you'll actually drive? What kind of engine? Audio? Many questions... I know EDIT: And is the guy at the wheel you? He's barely visible, but I think that's a person...

It a 2002 BMW M3. HP is around 370 (was 330). Max speed was 155mph limited (249 km), but with the chip about 180 (289 km). Audio: standard speaker set Haram Karan with an newer Alpine Ipod deck.
Just had my first track day with this car at Mission Raceway Park last Wednesday with my father and his tracking club.
I am going Seattle on the 25th, will get some photos.

Very cool ride! Reminds me of when we used to go up to Westwood Raceway in Coquitlam to watch the sport car races. Are you in stock or custom categories? Here's one high horsepowered baby.. (truck maker ball cap on backwards) Neat pics. I love the no nonsense, practical cab. Everything you need, and none of what you don't. 425 HP isn't all that much nowadays. My friend's husbands log truck (Western Star 4900 EX) has a 625 HP Cat in it.

I am going to Portland to track my car on Tuesday June 1st and 2rd.
But! A ferry question. ( June 3rd )
June 3rd, I need to get from Portland to Victoria. What would be the fastest route?

June 3rd, I need to get from Portland to Victoria. What would be the fastest route? From Portland, I usually allow about 5 hours to get to Port Angeles. (Take 101 north from Olympia & miss Seattle!) Then you would have a quick jump across on the Coho. However, that presumes that you are getting there at a time where you aren't waiting around half a day for a Coho sailing. The advantage to going that way is also missing all of that wonderful Seattle traffic. Portland to Tsawwassen is more like 6-7 hours, if you miss Seattle's rush hours, which might add a couple of hours to that estimate. Also, that's more than I can do without taking a long break somewhere along the way, so I've never really done it non-stop, but YMMV. That, and you end up in Sidney, which isn't Victoria yet. But the ferry schedule is definitely more favourable. So.... is something going on at PIR next week??

Happy to say that I tracked PIR (Portland International Raceway www.portlandraceway.com/ ) on June 02 and tracked ORP (Oregon Raceway Park www.oregonraceway.com/ ) for two days (June 03 and 04). Only two photos of me, just have to get them from 5.6mp to website size.
