Hello, My friends will be travelling in 1 car from Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay on Fri, May 16, and coming back on the Monday, May 19. Reservation is full already.
What is the likelihood that we'll catch the 7pm or at least the 9pm ferry from Horseshoe Bay if we leave downtown Vancouver at ~5pm on Friday? Or is it better to take the ferry from Tsawassen? And similarly, on Monday, how early should we arrive at the Departure Bay to catch the Ferry at ~3pm or 5pm? Or is it better to go from Duke Point?
Thanks for the help!

nh,
Friday May 16th according to BC Ferries busy times calendar says that the 10:30 am through the 7 pm are busy sailings. The Queen of Coquitlam will be doing at least two extra round trips that day since she will also be doing Langdale run too. Tsawwassen to Duke Point is also excepted to be busy so I suggest that you might want to get to the terminal at 5 pm.
On the 19th, it would be best to go from Duke Point since it has not been busy historically on Victoria Day.
