The royal wedding is happening tomorrow morning, and coverage has already started. Are there other forum-members watching? What does the monarchy mean to you? Firstly, thank you for starting this thread. I am watching this at this time. The Royals mean a lot as I have some British in me. Very busy night and day of TV watching. The Canucks win! The Royal Wedding. And, the final launch of the Space Shuttle ENDEAVOUR with bean soup for dinner tonight (scrubbed for today). Let's enjoy these jolly good historic minutes this morning, and have a British flag in hand! Best wishes to the Royal Couple!!
It was a great event today. Everything went well. The forecasted clammy conditions didn't materialize during the proceedings, either. Westminster Abbey was decked out beautifully. The wedding ceremony was great and the music was beautiful. The bells of the Abbey would ring for some three hours after the ceremony. Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!

I feel like puking out of pure congratulation. I send forth my deepest sentiments of appraisal to you both, William and Catherine, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

I watched the highlights this morning. It seemed very nice. I am very glad and I have been impressed by the boys. It was nice to see them drive themselves from the palace. The fact his squadron sent along a Sea King was a nice touch. I hope the "new" royals will be a little more grounded then the last generation. I have great faith in the Queen herself and have always been impressed that she served during the war starting as a private and working her way up. Anyway congrats to the youngest branch of the Windsor family.

Royal, or not... I feel more congratulatory to William and Kate for each actually being able to find a person in this world that they truly love and want to spend their lives with. Let's hope their happiness lasts a very, very long time.

:)yes the royal wedding coverage is magnicifcent on HD tv and is a cut above looking at immages of mill bay ferry, I think, I really miss that high church music that we never get in our modern praise music featured at our present church service. a welcome represe from regular ship and canuck watching. that being said I will happily return to shipwatching, Mrdot.
