Alright, my turn to pick the next flagship felt like it came up suddenly this time, so I'll admit this is a last minute rushed decision. For February, I'm looking for pictures of the original Spauldings of the BC Fleet. This includes: Queen of Sidney (preferably in better times) Queen of Tsawwassen Queen of Victoria Queen of Vancouver Queen of Saanich Queen of Esquimalt Queen of Nanaimo Queen of New Westminster Queen of Burnaby These photos can be of any perspective. These could be generic photos of the ship itself, or photos from onboard such as the car deck or passenger lounges. You can even be artsy fartsy, and feature some sort of smaller details like a funnel, life ring, ships wheel, etc, as long as theres some sort of hint or dead giveaway that proves it was from one of those vessels. Please limit three photos per entry. There will be a vote at the end of the month to decide upon 8 different banners which will rotate through every page refresh. The rest of the standard rules for sizing and whatnot still apply. Please see the following link if you're not sure what those are. ferriesbc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=flagship&action=display&thread=3510Nominations close on January 30th at 21:00 ....annnnnd.....GO! EDIT: Please note the latest update to increase the amount of entries to three per person

Please limit two photos per entry. I hope we won't end up with too many entries, as I'd like to follow through with keeping the banner rotating through images upon page refresh. Nominations close on January 31st at 21:00 ....annnnnd.....GO! Will there be a vote to select approx 6-8 winners, or is it "all nominations get displayed" ?

Perhaps you should expand this to include original American Spauldings including the Coho and AMHS's three 'Blue Canoes'. I did not see any response to this suggestion. Therefore I gather that only BCF original Spauldings are eligable... Here are my three submissions for February: Full SizeFull Size Full size

Nice entry! Just one thing, though. You have been too long in Sydney, Nova Scotia. BC's S idney has no 'Y', just an 'I'. You might want to change the text used on your submission.

:)nice time capsule shot of sidney with red ensign proudly flying! I don't know if my brother can find anything that far back, but I might come up with something vintage! mrdot.

I found myself getting the stare down from Nick about this very misspelling a long, long time ago, seeing as it's his home town and all.

Therefore I gather that only BCF original Spauldings are eligable... My apologies for not getting back to you sooner. But, I'd actually really like to keep it to BC Ferries this time around. The Coho and AMHS Ferries have been acknowledged one way or another over the past few months. I've also been hoping for more creative photos instead of generic profile views of the ships. But beggers can't be choosers I guess. I'd also like to extend the nominations to 3 entries per person. So everyone who has already submitted two, may now submit one more. Please edit your existing post with the added entry though.

If we want to do our usual vote on the last-day of the month, then nominations would need to close on January 30th.
Voting would close on Jan.31st.
Just saying. But it's not my gig this month.
