Hey. What route did the Queen of Richmond? What is Queen of Richmond car and passage size? Sails the route from Wooward's Landing to Woodfibre in late spring. car and passenger size equal to the Queen of New Westminster I believe. Woodward's Landing is located just down river from Deas Dock. Accessible from the turn off on the Steveston Highway. The 'Richmond is unlifted, and I believe but am not sure, unstretched, too, isn't she? And she has the pointed bow of the Coho, unlike the other V/Bs. That would make her vehicle capacity lower, wouldn't it?

For example, if you're going north on Vancouver Island from Nanaimo, they can provide brochures about the Island Hall resort in Parksville, or the Courtenay Hotel in Courtenay, both excellent places to stay. Ahhh, the legendary CoHo. I never did make it to the Courtenay Hotel before it shut down. Didn't it fall apart?

I recall once Translink chartered the Queen of Richmond with plans for a leisurely commuter service. Service was provided from her home port of Woodwards Landing to Mission via the Fraser River with stops at Annacis Island, Port Mann, Albion, and the Queen of Sidney (to pay respects to a fallen sister). The experiment was short lived.

Service was provided from her home port of Woodwards Landing to Mission via the Fraser River with stops at Annacis Island, Port Mann, Albion, and the Queen of Sidney (to pay respects to a fallen sister). The experiment was short lived. I managed to research more on this brief service by speaking with a deckhand who once served aboard the Queen of Richmond. She took on a purple livery similar to the West Coast Express trains and was renamed Royal Valley Princess. A true blemish on her career. She reverted to her former name and colour scheme after this experiment ended.
