The other day when I was about to board the Yakima to Bremerton, I heard the Kitsap pull in from Mukilteo. They where cleaning windows, the crews cars were on board, and the boat was so lightweight the prop and rudder space was showing. Wow! Never had really seen the prop from an on-the-water WSF. But I think the super-c class (coastals) win the award for prop showing. Same thing happened when the Kitsap was about to go into service in Edmonds when the hood canal bridge was closed and the Kitsap was going from Edmonds- Kingston and one late night run to Port Townsend. That time the prop was clearly visible.

Random Topic.
Truly my favorite ferry is the Puyallup, but my question is if any of the Jumbo Mark II have ever been on the Seattle- Bremerton route?

Why do all Issaquahs rev up before leaving the dock? When I am on the Kitsap or other Issaquah ferry they do that. All the other diesel ferries don't do that.
