We've had Snow for a little over the last 12 hours here. It gave us a nice dusting of the ground. It looks like it's around 2 centimetres.

About 1/2 inch in my area this morning. Getting to work was a bit of a challenge due to bus service disruptions. The one I normally catch at the Fauntleroy ferry terminal didn't show up and I ended up catching one that only went as far as the West Seattle Junction and ended up waiting 20 minutes for one to downtown Seattle (it was running late because it left the garage w/o chains and had to be chained up at its layover stop). Finally got to downtown and ended up walking to work (took about 20-30 minutes).

February was a dry month here on the inland North Coast, hardly any snow at all. It has in fact been mainly clear, cold, windy & dry. But it is March now, and true to form she has come in like a lion... OMG, they are dumping another load on my front lawn... Green grass to mow? Maybe by May 1st

While at work this morning, there was a whiteout for about 5-10 minutes. It is currently snowing here in Esquimalt as I am typing this.

Oh those were the days when a skiff of snow would cancel school. We would be excited that after rolling the snow up from half the yard, would get enough snow for one level of a snow man. Mind you the base was half green grass but it was the spirit of the thing. ;D Again we have a reversal of weather as we had a dump of rain last night. I will be thinking of you guys as I fire up the bbq again tonight.

It's still snowing at 12:15pm here in Esquimalt. Has been since around 7 this morning. Just by peeking outside, I'd say there is between 5-10 cm on the ground.

There's no snow here, but I'm still at home. (Hooray for Pro-D Days!) But saying that, it has been trying to stick all weekend, Friday night we got a little dusting of it, than Saturday afternoon it went through an odd change. It went from hail, to snow, than it stopped, and the sun came out. On Sunday it took a break and despite a few odd flakes, Monday is about the same.

Well a small portion of snow remains, about 2 cm... however we're due for a windchill of a lovely -12 tomorrow morning, that'll be a nice wake-up call. BTW, my math teacher did show up about 35 minutes late this morning

I was planning on driving to school this morning. After driving less than two kilometers I realized I would kill someone if I continued, parked my car at a shopping centre and arrived at school 40 minutes later than had I taken that series of buses on a normal day.
My prof was 30 minutes late though, and only half the class was there so it was all good.

Had some nice bit of snow in my area as well. My car was decorated!
I think winter will still be with us until the Stanley Cup is awarded. Once the ice is melted in the NHL rinks and the dressing rooms emptied, summer will begin. ;D

Hey I've accomplished everything I wanna do on the mountain at least 100 times this season already I've had tons of good times and I've got more people hooked on skiing and improved my own skiing too (that's right, instructors take lessons too!) Now with all that said and done lets bring on the spring skiing... in April.

...I've got more people hooked on skiing... Yeah, but we still got a few more to go brotha! It was a rough start to the season, but the snow has picked up... a lot. Despite the conditions, most have hit the slopes some time this season, including myself who has spent a few weekends in Whistler.

I'm 2 weeks away from my first cat skiing trip. . .getting pretty excited!
My brother just went on one this past weekend near Red Mountain in Rossland. He said the snow conditions were the best that it's been all season long there. I'm not going to that location but I'm liking the late season booking instead of an earlier one!
