I wrote this poem in my English Class Yesterday and I typed out on one of the School computers today then I sent it through my address so I could share it with the forum. Though some of these parts might not rhyme it's still a pretty good poem it's title is...

The Sinking of the Queen of the North
Down the channel they sailed,
The mountains not visible,
With a name that shone like glass,
And not visible some schools of bass.
It sailed right on into the night,
Until nothing was seen but interior lights,
Into more open space she cruised,
And then into auto-pilot did they choose.
The waves crashed the ship to the right,
Until the land was side by side,
Than a rock unknown with a screech,
Ripped like paper the hull was breached.
A may-day relay was soon called out,
And did inspire a rescue by a small fishing town,
They aided the passengers and the crew,
All them escape, except for two.
The ship went down a thousand feet,
Stuck upright at the bottom of the sea,
The company had seen nothing like this before,
So lets celebrate the life of the Queen of the North.

This Poem is about the Events that happened that night and the predicted cause of how the Queen of the North sank
P.S. 6 of the words in the poem were part of the assignment. the words were Inspire, Glass, Celebrate, Paper, Mountain, and Escape
P.S.S. The 4th line in the first part is there because I didn't have something that rhymed
So what do you all think?
