You have to love the Kalakala, because there's never been anything like it, but gawd, it does look like a slug with it's tongue hanging out.

Great Find!
It's a beautiful book, isn't it... there's a quaint little collectors shop aboard the Queen Mary, in Long Beach, Califonia, that has that same book, if I'm not mistaken, among many passenger (and some freight) marine-transportation themed books and artifacts. Sometime, I'll post the photos of the mall that the store is located.. as well as other shots of that beauty of a ship.

I have that book too.
IIRC, it also has pictures of some San Francisco ferries.

Yes it does, but I could have been on the scanner for some time scanning all the images...but at the same time my description could have been more detailed
