Route 1 is only route to have additional sailing for Taylor Swift, I personally would think route 30 would have done 8 sailing on December 7, and 8 with Queen of Oaky Bay adding round trip on December 6, 7 and 8.

Hullo has added more sailings than I would have anticipated, and I expect that BC Ferries also has market analysis that leads them to adjust schedules more expertly than us ferry fans can.

I don’t think this best move on BC Ferries part because they could have done some similar to what BC Transit does online survey for specific ferry routes and provide feedback to ferry advisory committees for better understanding of community needs.

This is sort of the same as the recent Translink warning about how much transit services might have to be cut back if funding levels are kept the same. It's not alarmism; it's a statement about the need for government, in both cases provincial, to show how it prioritizes basic transportation. Both marine and land based transit systems are extremely expensive to run. I don't envy the province for their conundrum in finding the necessary funds.
