How come you hear about some WSF being delayed by fog? Dosent WSF have good radar? You dont hear to often about BC Ferries being delayed by fog. Nothing against them, just curious about that. I also read a thing about the food provider who serves WSF has new plans to close the galleys on those ferries earlier in the evenings and I read the Port Townsend Route there not going tohave the galley open in the winter. So like late sailings you wouldent be able to get anything to eat if you wanted, other than vending machines. I was suprised when I took a trip on the Elwha to Anacortes and found they have popcorn on the ferries, that was something I never seen before. I have only been on two WSF, the Elwha to Anacortes and the Cathlemat between Clinton and Mulkito, and it was different experience to see the american ferries.

Captians do not rely sometimes on radar because of pleasure crafts they can colide into.
