Well they are at it again - new bomb blast in West London today at 12:30 everything is shut down - all mobile phone networks are off line (Cell Phones)
I wonder where they seem to get all the Police from as we never see them on the street - then all of a sudden they appear....
Also shut down two ports - Dover & Southampton. Cross Channel Ferries are going slow.

Well, I thought they had police all over the streets. And that the person who was behind all this was killed in the bus bomb in Russel Square. What on earth is going on in my home country, and I was thinking of going there for a visit next week!

They hit #26 Bus - West End is Closed. Hammersmith is also hit. One person dead so far.
Yes the four bomber are dead - but the "mastermind" got away.
As for the Police - well when you need them - can't find one - then all of a sudden there appears to be millions of them on the street - so where have they come from ?

No, but I only went into london for my canadian citizenship registry. we went on 2nd april 2004, 8 July 2004, and the 22n July 2004. 22nd July I got to go into the cab of a class 313 train. I went with my dad to Hertford North from Fakenham, we left at 11:00am, and go to the station just in time for the 1:30 train to Highbury & Islington, but it went as far as Moorgate, we just got off at Highbury & Islington.

The four new bombs - didn't go off - old material - but appears to be from the same batch.
They shot a terrorist this morning in South London - five times to the head. How we have orders - shot to kill - very un-British I may add.
The West End and other parts of London are a mess - left over stuff from two weeks ago - and now from Thursday.
P&O are selling all there ship related business. The only thing they currently have left is the Ferry business and the Ports. The Ferry business is on the block now as we speak.
They got massive planning approval for a new Port - terminal - at Shell Haven - which will be called "London Gateway". should create about 16,500 jobs, and handle around 17% of the total cargo coming into the UK. So the big money is now on owning Ports.
I guess the Washington Marine Group have hit the jackpot - in owning a number of shipyards and Ports in BC and Southern Calif.

A lot of the P&O business that was sold or been sold - parts of the deal allow you to use the name - which is really a "good" brand name in the Shipping world.
As for takes over the route? Well here in Europe - it is open market - so anyone who wants to - provided they meet the safety requirements and there ships/vessels are new then they will drive business to the route. Some times a route "dies" as the operator doesn't invest enough in newer vessels and services - people then walk to the next operator - which is were we come in and provide the Finance for them to set up an operation.

Given that the parents of the first set of bomber didn't even know what there son's where up to... as one mother knew her son had gone to London - so she reported him missing...thinking he was killed in the Bus bomb - not knowing he was the actual bomber. I know hard to beleive... but appears to be the truth.
The guy shot by police in South London - again big mis take - but I do have to believe the police. His flat address was found in the bag of the Tube bomber, he was an electrician by trade, he was wearing a heavy thick winter jacket - when everyone on that day was wearing t-shirts and shorts - even I was - then when challenged by police he ran - jumped off over the guards in the tube station. He spoke good english - so why run? Why wear a thick heavy coat on one of the hottest days in London ? I think more will come out about this guy.
They are going to have to change the "open door" policy and send back people who come here claiming all sorts of stuff. As you have seen from the press / TV we do have a lot of CCTV all around London and on Buses and tube trains ect.... Big Brother is looking at you all the time in London. You are a lot freer in BC than we are here.
