I'm sure most of you are probably sick of hearing about Hurricane Katrina.....but Google Maps has taken some Satellite photos of New Orleans last Wednesday. You can of course zoom in to 200 ft above the ground so you can see all of the flooded neighborhoods. It's pretty daunting seeing this and how much damge really happened, including the roof being ripped off of the super dome. If you're interested have a look here...and click on the red buttom saying Katrina, then it should show you the most recent images. maps.google.com/maps?q=New+Orleans&t=eIf you've never used this site before, you can use your mouse to drag the photo around, and then the bar on the left lets you zoom in or out by pushing it up or down. It doesn't take long to figure out.
