Is that a sister ship of the Bainbridge?

actually it looks to be the Steel Electric class . check out www.evergreenfleet.com/steel.html and you can see that it looks to be a SE class

its a steel electric class before its 1986 (or earlier) refit. they cut the superstructure from the deck up, and then repaced it with what they got now.

I'm not sure when that picture was taken, but it probably was sometime in the 1970's (she was retired in 1980 and she hadn't received the gold band on the stack yet when that picture was taken).

The Bainbridge had two sister ships the Kitsap and the Vashon

It is the Vashon. The pre-refit Steel Electrics had a bigger bridge.
