I believe there are too many immature kids on this board who can't spell or put together a half decent sentence worth beans, let alone the dreamers. Some of the kids are even too young to be here due to the age restriction on signing up. But they lie about their age just to get on here and post immature, badly spelled comments. Dreamers, like Harry, think BCF will do anything on their account. Harry: BCF WILL NOT USE A 50+ CAR VESSEL ON THE MILL BAY ROUTE just because you WANT them to. They, as much as many of us like it or not, will not keep the six routes they want to contract out. But really, if you're not old enough to legally sign up, post as a guest if you must. They almost have the same priorities as members...they just can't post polls (and that's a good thing, I hate immature continuous polls). And remember to look over what you're about to post once and use the spell check too. For example: this so called "saanich" spelled "would" "wood." I don't know about you guys but I knew about the difference of those two words in grade 2. If he's younger than grade 2 age, he shouldn't be permitted to be on here....

Quinsam lots of your pos are like what Doug says, but you do put in good posts, heck everyone puts in dumb posts all the time and hey who cares about spelling unless its for work or school.
You have been on the forum for less than a year and you have 885 posts, tone it down and make less posts that are good than lots of one word posts.
Everyone who has a passion for ferries is allowed on hte board no matter what Doug says.

I have interests in Trains and ferries, the ferries interest was started by BCFerries about 7 months ago, then the trains were 10 years ago

...Don't look at me I was here before the age restriction and that started a month before I turned 13 in fact in some ways you would think I wasn't 13 anyway don't include me in this and one more thing about grammer may I remind you that we all make grammatical errors here for example I just Spelled grammar wrong and one word posts sometimes we don't have a big comment like when someone gives a complement for example all we could say is thanks. So who cares about the age just as long as the under 13 crowd isn't annoying they're fine to be here just Harry (no offense and all) you're kinda getting out of hand with the polls and the Brentwood Bay Mill Bay Route. So Quit the complaining and lets get back to the purpose of this forum BC Ferry and Non BC Ferry talk

Almost all of the young people who post here have good grammar and spelling. If it wasn't for the kids on the board, we'd have two topics a week and that's it. Some of the polls and topics are lame, but I simply don't read them or participate in them. It's as simple as that.

The occasional error is fine, but it's to the point where it can't be read by other people that it's a problem.

I blame the Campbell Government for the children's bad grammar! Folks like me who were taught during the Zalm/Harcourt/Clark era have perfect englesh.

We have to understand. that if we had all older guys on the boards, then we would be having boring topics about how the Old V class need to be sliced and repowered to give them 20+ more years, but thats not the way we talk here. some of the topics are nice, but some of them just repeat what has already been said.

Us young people keep it real here, which is important in keeping this forum busy like it has been for almost the past year.

Young people on this board have trouble staying on topic. Is that ADHD?

No doubt to your excessive chagrin, Mr. Ubell, I shall put forth a veracity...
I'm 19. Yep. Ninet - Schenectady splittin' - een.
Well, now that my Enola Gay has overflown your collective Hiroshimas, I'll get down to the point that I was going to make.
Ghetto lingo, gangsta' rap, phat beats, tracks or toons (alt. spel. tunes) wiggidy whack, bling bling, homies in brouge, beatches, sub woofers, hydraulic lifts on cars and most "top forty" songs from the past 15 years (there are exceptions; for some reason, I don't harbour a deep hatred of the song Hey Ya) should be banned from this forum.
Having said this, I do feel that there's a certain 'goldfish attention span' when it comes to some posters and their creation of new topics. However, I would disagree on the point that it's fundamentally necessary to stay on topic. The best conversations are organic ones. Minds should be free to wander.
