This site is based in Germany - as the .de is the German ending - like .ca is Canadian and .co.uk is for the England ect... the flags - are to show you the country in which they are talking about. You also might want to go to www.stp-norway.com as Pal a friend of mind has a very good site - airplanes and boats / ships. There is a lot of cruise lines going to Norway and then up North. His English - written on the site is OK - not perfect.

There are a number of German sites - as they have a club system - where they travel around the world and ride as many as they can - different ferries. In 2001 they did a trip to BC and rode a few of BCFS - and then wrote up a report on what they found. Not good reading if your a fan of BC Ferries.
They are well organized - so they get trips to the bridge and engine room ect.... they also take a lot of pictures - which they post. We use a number of these sites to check out what other operators are doing and what the general public think of them. I guess you could say they are like a "Film Critic".
In Europe the operators check daily these sites to see what there customers think of the service and how they can improve it. That is why - as I said many posts back - that this forum could do a lot of good - in helping BC Ferries get there service sorted out. What other forum is there for the general public to debate - complain about the service of BC Ferries. Not many people write in - nor do BC Ferries welcome emails from there customers. Very big difference to what we have over here. Plus there is a lot more competition - with other ferry operators - and low cost airlines - and the channel tunnel.
