Japanese ferry hits whale leaving 93 injured

JAPANESE maritime officials have launched an investigation after 93 people were injured when the 281 gt hydrofoil Toppy 4 hit a marine animal, believed to be a whale, off Japan’s southern coast on Sunday evening.

Isn't the Japanese whaling industry getting inventive? They haven't quite managed to rid the seas of whales with traditional methods, so they're going to start running them down with ferries.
