The Halifax Harbour Ferry, when taken into the context of the size of Halifax, is quite similar to the Seabus. The HHFerry is a two-route (one like SeaBus, one with commuter hours), up to 15min headway ferry service, run by their regional transit provider, that carries only passengers.
When boarding the ferry, I found it very much like boarding a SeaBus, as in the fact that passenger-boarding was done the length of the ship via a wide gangway extended from a two-pronged, floating terminal (one prong loading, one prong debarking, just like SeaBus).
There's a trade-off when taking the HHFerry: the ride isn't extremely fast, but there's an out-door upper deck that covers the width and length of the ferry (minus, of course, the pilot house), giving you something to look at during the possibly 5 minute longer ride.
