Well the tour was excellent but more silent than I expected. My dad came along...we came the Mission Bridge. Didn't wan't to wait for an hour at the Albion Ferry.

Hey Nick: In photo #142 on your page, is that the old mezzanine platform deck ramp that they are using as an outside ramp to drive onto the ship?

Thanks for the photo of the hole-in-the-side......a Coho-job.
Was the ramp taken from the platform deck? It sure looks like it.
Did you guys feel like you were on a ghost-tour? Was it eery and strange? Sad, or just historic?
The exterior should looked grimy, just like you'd expect after 5 years of neglect.

It felt a little weird for me...being on an empty ferry not in service. You will certainly know these ships are big when you are standing at the waterline off the ship. We toured pretty much the whole ship...the areas I found most intresting were on the bridge wings and standing beside the huge engines.
The old clunker San Mateo was there as well, covered with mud.
