I think that Mac got pictures of every toilet on the Sidney.......just kidding, but the guy does a thurough job of documenting a ship.
re Mac's pics: Lots of shots with the tour group showing: blue rain jackets were the official uniform, by the looks of it. Who were the guys in the leather jackets?
Was the guy in the white coveralls the tour-guide?

Wow this was such a great tour!!! I will be uploading my pics shortly, and I'll try and start the video I made of this trip as well. I was so weird coming down the Lougheed Highway, and then seeing the Sidney. What was even better was the fact it was on shore power, and the port and starboard lights were on at the bridge, even the radar was on. It looked so neat! Then I filmed Bill starting the generator up that was inside the funnel, and then to see all of the black smoke spew out of one of the pipes. So then after that Bill lowered one of the lifeboats into the water, filmed as well. But holy, what an awesome tour! Once again, thanks Bill!!!!!

Yeah I just got home. The 7pm SOBC was packed tonight and they were using both platform decks too. The Sidney tour was awesome. I went back up with Graham and got some more photos. Just standing there, silent, on an empty ferry. Graham almost got locked in the Sidney. He was up there taking photos when Bill was closing up the gate so I had to run back and tell him he was still on the ship and we had to go back and look for him. lol, overall it was a pretty good tour. Dident end up taking the Albion ferry coming back cause it was too packed but coming over we did. Little tight squeeze for Mac to get out of the car on the Albion ferry, lol! I got lots of photos I will post them soon!

I was still in the funnel when he started the generator, and got some up-close shots of that black smoke spewing out. Will be posting soon.

"Graham almost got locked in the Sidney. He was up there taking photos when Bill was closing up the gate so I had to run back and tell him he was still on the ship and we had to go back and look for him." lol, yeah. Once I finished up taking photos I headed for shore and could have sworn that I heard someone calling for me in the distance. Apparently Karl and Bill came looking for me just as I was leaving the ship, by a different route, and ended up missing them completely, only finding out later that I was almost locked in!

The video tour I made of the Sidney is now complete. If anyone wants a copy, just post on here or send me a message on msn. BTW, it would probably be the easiest to send it over msn as it is 50 mbs.

Holy, yeah. I would estimate with all of our pictures together we have close to five or six hundred pics of that ferry. That's awesome because those pics on that wraiths site were getting boring. But now it's interesting to look at those pics because all the chairs are still in place and everything.

Ferryman what's your MSN? mine is bigtc@hotmail.com want that video (but can't do file transfers but can do them on AIM.
Also, I can host everyones images on my temp BC Ferries site (800x600) and can post the best of everyones and clean them up for all, along with making a nice webpage for the photos on the site (basicly custimize the look of the photo gallery) no bloated ads (until I finally ad elegant Google Ads at some point).
