We're flooding too, we still have at least 5 inches of the 10 inches we got on sunday cause of all of this rain. Its really pouring and the streets have been lakes cause of the snow blocking the drains. The weather man on BCTV says 120mm's expected tonight along with the rest of the snow melt. Looks like another flood forming just like back in Fall of 2003 up here

I'm glad North Van is a big hill. The big problem here is that Grouse Mountain is getting raped because it is too warm.

Wow, it is a lot rainier today. There is probably going to be some road closures around Fort Langley and the Salmon River due to flooding if this weather continues for another few days. I've already heard theres huge waits on the Albion Ferry. The fields around the Salmon River are now flooding with water up to a meter deep (the fence posts are almost completely underwater). There was one view that it looked like a calm ocean...you could see so much water and no land at the other side because of the mist and fog.

The only problem about being on a hill is that there is the possibility of a mudslide.
Hey, did any one hear about the mudslide here in North Van? It happened near Riverside Drive. At least one person is dead.
